I am working with the operation in Process LC workbench. I pick the Repository -1.0 activity it shows only Read Resource Content operation. The Repository service has many other operations like readResource, updateResource etc.. How I define a new operation from the Repository service in order it shows up in the Define Activity popup screen. Thank you for your help

Quite a simple question I believe: how can I, in a process, render an HTML5 Form (such as rendered using the IVS interface).
I tried the renderHTML module, but it does not render an HTML5 version of the form...
Can someone help me ?

Hi,
when I just wanted to remove an application, the workbench warned me that there is one application that has dependencies on it. Because I knew there shouldn't be any, I searched through the processes but found nothing. When I looked at the process_dependency files I saw that there is one process listing a subprocess of the other application, named invoke9.
I went to the process in the editor two more times and even searched the .process xml file but there is no such subprocess.
Is there a way to remove this dependency or let livecycle rebuild the dependencies or whatever? I learned from the past that editing xml files mostly result in corrupted processes the editor won't open anymore. In this case however it seems that livecycle just ignores the changes (I removed the dependency in the xml) and reverts the file.

We are upgrading to ES4 and not everything is working so I wonder if this is something I need to do? As I recall from installing ES2 this was also an option but the description seems to refer only to LC ES Version 7.0/8.0, that is, not ES2.
I need my SQL queries to run each time the form is opened. This is whether the form is opened by the original user, an approver in workspace, or when someone opens a form (possibly rejected) via an attachment in e-mail. It appears that the processes for "Render" seem only to run when the form is originally opened by the end user. Can anyone help in explaining how to get the form to run the render processes (and other processes) each time the form is opened, no matter how it is opened?

I have a string variable -- based on serializing an xml variable -- in a process.
It has "unlimited" length.
When I open the record and playback, there is text there indicating the start of stringified xml:
<node_x
that's about all I can see.
Unfortunately, the "copy value" right-click option on the context menu is greyed out, just when I need it the most!
Is this normal behavior for a scenario like this?
Is there anyway I can get it to copy ....

Hi, I am new to Adobe livecycle workbench. I am creating dynamic pdf forms for output purpose only. I have created a form using livecycle designer and able to bind the data using OLEDB database connection, but I am not able to fetch the multiple data from the database using OLEDB connection because it returns only single object to bind.
I am a java developer and have the idea about WSDL file and XML Schema. Can anybody help me to bind the multiple data from the database in livecycle forms using WSDL or XML schema? Suppose if we have a table in livecycle then how I will bind the multiple rows/records of the table into the multiple records of the database?
Please add any reference link to resolve this issues.

Hi all,
We have a problem in activating the process in LiveCycle Workbench ES 8.2.
I am able to create a new process, but when I activate it shows:
"Failed to make Service Configuration Active. Please check the workbench error log files".
When I try to deactivate the other process it shows the same error.
Due to this we are unable to create/configure new request in workbench.
Please advice how to fix this issues.

While using SAVE button in workspace, is there a way to save tasks with different names?
steps:
1) Click on start Process in workspace - Complete task order
2) Click on save button with some data.
- Is it possible to change the name here?
if there are 50 tasks named "Complete task order" in To-do list, users want the ability to rename task.

I'm working with a process and a form which has been developed by someone else. As an improvement I need to extract the subject from incoming mails and store this subject to a variable. At this point I stuck in defining the variable. As you can see in the screen shot from the adminui, the Sender is already being extracted:
From what I understand till now I have to add a new variable named %Subject%. Could you please tell me how to do this?
I wrote JavaScript to handle the adding and removing of attachments in a LiveCycle form. I need to disable the paperclip attachment button when the form is opened in Reader or Acrobat. Does anyone know how to modify the Reader user interface in workbench?

The assembler can be used to attach some document to an pdf. But can I get an attachment?

I'm having problems inserting a node into a XML. After getting some attributes from the CRC result i'd like to store them in a temp xml variable.
After that the parent node of the attributes should be inserterd in a goal XML with a repeating node structure.
Whats the right way to set a node to a certain position in the goal XML?
