Hi

 

I have requirement where I need to get particular user calendor data from outlook server.I am exploring different
ways but could not able to get correct way to get the desired  result.

 

Please help me out by providing materail or any link or any idea to get the calender's data thru LC ES2 Process Management.

Hi All,

 

I am using a java application to render pdf from XDP. Whenever i perform action to download or view pdf, i am getting the below error message in my eclipse. Please assist. Thanks.

Hi,

 

All of sudden today I started to get the duplicate sevice exception error when I try to deploy the application.  I already tried removing the app from LC, reboot the machine and then import the application back and deploy, but I still get the same error.  The app deploys fine on another LC server.  Please help, thank you.

I would like to update the process to send an email at the end of the process to notify all persons who has participated in the process that the process has been completed.

Hi,

 

I have installed Adobe Workbench ES3. The installation was good. I did succeed to connect to server successfully. However, when I try to create an application, I get the below error if I try to create an application.

"Failed to create application please check if application name contains invalid string"

 

Could someone please help me out as how can I proceed further.

Hello,

 

I have a simple process that the user fill and submit the form  to route to the manager for approval. The form does contain a list of names on it and I would like to send email to these names and I've tried the Find Users or Send Email but it does not work.

 

Can any one please advise on how to get this done.

I understand that Signature Service can't Add Invisible Signature Field to a Dynamic XFA PDF, so I'm trying the following:

 

1. Forms Service's renderPDFForm operation to Merge Form and Data; and then
2. Output Service's transformPDF operation to Flatten PDF.

 

However I still get the error: ALC-DSS-300-007 Addition of Signature Fields is not supported for Dynamic XFA PDFs

 

This seems to indicate that previous steps I took do not in fact transform a Dynamic XFA PDF to Static PDF.

 

Is there are way to transform a Dynamic XFA PDF to a Static PDF so that I can add an invisible signature field that can be used by the Signature Service's Certify PDF operation?

 

(I feel like I must be overlooking something simple, and my google-fu is failing me.)

Hi,

 

I am trying to assemble two interactive PDF forms to form a single PDF. I am using LiveCycle process with Assembler and Invoke ddx file for this. But the resultant PDF is a flattened non interactive file.

Please guide me in obtaining a interactive PDF from two interactive PDFs.

hi i am trying to install livecycle server using Adobe LiveCycle Configuration Manager on windows 7.in this i reached to a slide heading is LifeCycle ES3 Database initialization there is a button labeled as initializa and two text field in host text field i entered localhost and in port i entered 8080 and getting error

ALC-TTN-105-000 could not connect to bootstrap servlet.Port[Connection refused:connect] may be invalid .

i tried other ports also 8081 8085 9090 etc but still facing the same error .can any one please tell how to resolve this error??please help i am a beginner and i am very excited to create my first app please help how to proceed further and resolve this issue!!

The “renderHTMLForm” operation is available under both “FormsService” and “NewHTMLFormsService” services. Which one should be used to render an XDP as HTML5 form? Is “NewHTMLFormsService" specifically for use with the workspace as it is a part of process management module?

Hi,
Is it possible to schedule the execution of a short-lived process? I would like it to be invoked periodically (ex: dayly, weekly, montly). I suppose I can manage this by writing a custom java application, which calls LiveCycle service, using quartz. Is it a true approach and what other alternatives can be considered?

Hi all,
I have tried to prepoulate data( The first and last name of the user)on to the form using the form render service. I am invoking the render service in the initial stage when user opens the form. So for the main input form in the advanced setting I am using calling the render service. The problme is the data(users first and last name) is getting populated but when I fill the form and pass it to the next stage there is no data on the form except for the next users first name and last name which is not desired.
I do not understand the reason why the data is not being copied to the next satge. In the assign task output variable i used the same variable as input...but nothing is being copied over.

Please help me out.

Hi All,
I am very new to configuring websphere application server on adobe livecycle server. pls try to help.

I have installed the websphere properly and able to load sample webpages, but not able to configure it for adobe livecycle server.

I am trying to study and so installing both on the same computer.
the websphere webpage shows http://localhost:9081

In the windows host file i entered following(localhost:9081 server1)
inputted following values still not working
1. Deploy Type = Single Server
2. Server Instance = server1 ( this is the name of WAS)
3. Host Name : localhost:9081
4. soap port : 8880
5. admin user id : given
6. password : given
7. local application server root directory =C:/Program Files/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/

while clicking on Verify server connection, getting the following error message
Cannot connect to application server

Please help me as i am trying for couple of days to fix this.

DDX file and mapping in Workbench

I have searched everywhere to find an example or directions on how a DDX file should be assembled, and how I do the mapping in Workbench. I want to combine the content of different PDF files into one PDF file.
I know this can be done via the assembler using a DDX file.

The input PDF files are dynamic. So do I use a variable in the Input Document Map? What kind of variable does this need to be, and how do I get the data in it?
Or do I need to use a literal value? If so, what has to be in the DDX keys and selected key values?
...

I am using LiveCycle Workbench and wonder if there is a way to save an XDP straight out of Workbench as a PDF on a local drive?  Currently, I have to drag the XDP locally, open in local LiveCycle Designer and then Save As PDF.
